WHAT IT IS
Silent listening – to be heard, is a fundamental human need. I invite people to rediscover their freedom. By developing trust in this safe space to connect with themselves. By expressing what touches them. My method as a listener is to listen without judgement. Without giving comments or advice. Listening in silent presence. This means being connected to my heart and my mind, from which clarity emerges. A space of clarity for the person who is talking about themselves. Without judgement.
When opening up in this present space, thoughts sort themselves out naturally. This allows the person to experience clear self-reflection while being supported by the listener. As the person speaks, they listen to themselves and in this way touch a core within themselves that has a lasting effect. Because it reminds them that they can draw on their own resources and heal themselves. Independently and in self-empowerment.
What I call Silent listening at MAMAEAR has already been given other names in similar forms. I am not reinventing the basic principle.
At the same time, it is unique because I offer it in my very own way. Simple and wonderful, because there is only one me on earth. Just as the person sitting opposite me, is unique.
In this way, my work reaches people who resonate with me. And in doing so, it touches something deep inside them. Something that many paths, all equally valid, lead to.
And so it is wonderful how we find people and a path that gives us the confidence to open up. May we be ready to embrace it when it comes our way – to face ourselves.
